La Cocina De Nelly Colombian Ecuadorian

I came to this restaurant on a whim because my daughter was intrigued and wanted to try Colombian food. I ordered the carne asada, my daughter got the Lomo-saletado, and my husband got the chaulafan (apologies if I spelled that wrong). We also ordered empanadas - one beef, one chicken, tostones mixtos, and an arepa. Everything was delicious. Come hungry! My daughter loved the mango shake so much that she forgot about it and asked me to order her another one in a hurry. This restaurant has a great family atmosphere, delicious food, and generous portions.

I visited this lovely restaurant tonight without knowing much about their menu. The server recommended the soup since I wasn't feeling well, and it was amazing! I would come back every day just for it. I'm also excited to try some of their delicious entrees. This is a great new spot for homemade meals. I love it!

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and have always had good experiences, except for today. My friend and I were the first ones in the restaurant, but the waitress did not ask us for our drink order or inform us that the buffet was ready, even though we wanted to try it. Instead, she went to serve three other tables first. When I asked her about our drinks, she seemed confused because her English and Spanish were not very clear. I had to go to the kitchen and ask for someone else to take our order. The manager then came and told us to be patient because they were busy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning. I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

Wonderful lunch spot with helpful (and understanding) staff. Came in for lunch and we weren't really sure if we should go sit or order up front FYI you can sit and order from the menu or order from the buffet-like lunch special up front which was soup, rice and beans, and a couple meat options. It was delicious.
