Naz's Halal Food Waldorf

The food is sooooo good!!!!!! We needed this place in Waldorf.

Let me just say I like to try new things and at the same time picky . But this was the best choice I’ve made . Constantly looking for something amazing and different from the same stuff in waldorf . The lamb and chicken bowl was amazing I’ll definitely be visiting often right down the street from my home . Great customer service as well . Next I’ll try the GYRO ?

The halal tastes solid, but they do not give you nearly enough meat in the rice platters. Ordering a combo platter with extra protein, which adds $3, seemed to make no difference at all. It feels like 70% of the weight of the containers comes from the rice alone. I know of a few halal spots in the surrounding DMV that for the same price quite literally give you 2-3x the meat. The lamb chunks can also be quite tough and give that unpleasant sensation of feeling stuck/clogged in your throat/chest area when eating.

Not what I'm used to for fresh gyros, but it was a decent meal.

So I decided to try out this restaurant and I was definitely impressed. The lamb was nicely seasoned, the rice cooked to perfection, and the portion size was very generous. The fish and chips were flavorful and hit the spot. I do wish that due to the size of the portions that there would be larger containers of sauce. But, I still enjoyed the food and will definitely be making my way back.
