Had dinner there. It was very good. Had a nice salad bar and buffet.

We discovered this restaurant by chance while stopping for gas on a road trip. At first, we weren't sure if we should eat there, but we decided to stay, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made! The food was phenomenal! The sandwiches were incredibly tasty, and the salad bar offered a fresh selection of everything you could imagine. The rib soup was out of this world! To top it all off, the service was exceptional and very entertaining. You definitely need to eat here!

Excluded from breakfast, the food was great, the staff was friendly, and the service was fast. Both the staff and locals were honest and welcoming, making our time enjoyable. I would definitely eat here again if I get the chance!

I spent the night in Wakeeney on September 22, 2015, and was searching for a place to eat that wasn't fast food. I stumbled upon Jake and Chet's Cafe, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! They served the best roasted chicken, steak, and potatoes I've ever had. The small salad bar was delightful—fresh and simple, without any fuss. They even had Dorothy Lynch Salad Dressing! Overall, it was great homemade food!
