The Coffee Float - Waimauku

Another day, another restaurant/ cafe. A small place, good for a meal or a snack. Nice hot chocolate for me. My friend says the coffee is good too. It's a nice place to relax after dropping the kids to school !

Super friendly service, nice, clean and tidy modern interior with good coffee for various dietary requirements, yummy teas and the most amazing ever gluten free muffins. Their pies and filos etc are amazing. Breakfast choices, lunch. Amazing.

Great food and amazing service. Nothing too much trouble. We came in half and hour before closing and were still happy to see us. The shepards pie was outstanding and the cesar salad was perfect. Almost all was homemade and the pies were rich and decent size. I know I am going on but the coffee was beautiful and rich too. Gotta try this place peeps.

Very clean and bright and the coffee is amazing! Maybe I’ve been spoiled by the cafes in Auckland, but the food wasn’t as great as I was hoping. I had the French toast and the breakfast roll, both were decent. Service was slow but it seemed like maybe they were training new people so that’s probably not normal.

This place was really cool. Definitely worth a visit.
