Wahooo's Seafood Grill & Bar - Wailua

The wahoo restaurant seems to be permanently closed. we obviously couldn't go.

We found out that Wahooos has been a destination in Kaua Kamboja for years and decided to celebrate our anniversary there. Coming all the way from Canada, it was a 4000 mile round trip! After spending two weeks in a snow-covered landscape, our meal at Wahooo's was a standout experience. Enjoying delicious food and watching the sunset from the lanai with a view of the royal coconut plantation trees swaying in the wind was truly unforgettable. Thank you very much, aloha and until we meet again!

The overall experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was terrible and the service was lousy – it was just bad news all around.

One gluten free option. It was ok. We used to go here a lot when we came to visit Kauai. This time the service was mediocre and the food was just OK. We will probably not be back. I am sad about this because it used to be one of our favorite restaraunts on the island.

The best Filet ever..And Tami never disappoints always full of smiles and sparkles.
