I had a starter of thin pounded ahi with spices, olives and a delicious halfspicy sauce. My main meal was perfectly cooked and delicate swordfish. I never command swordfish because it's always hard. But that was autumn-apart delicate and tasty. We're back with our friends!
Absolutely fantastic food and great service. We enjoyed a dinner here and will definitely come back. The short rib pizza was surprisingly good, and the boar with handmade pasta was also amazing. Canoli... Veal Milanese... Well worth it
Excellent search in Waikoloa Village. Your Caesar salad is one of the best I had. The garlic focaccia was worth the upgrade. For our entrees we ordered some special items that were not disappointed. We liked the place so much we went back two days later, before we flew back. This time we ordered the Tagliatelle with Bolognese and the radiators with vodka sauce. The pasta was so fresh and delicious. Both were exceptional, but I would give the Bolognese a slight edge. We'll be back in Kona the next time.
Now DIESES is a great restaurant with great food and ambience. If you live in Kohala Hotels, break from there and try a local fare with the Good Luck Pueo (Local Owl), which is a lucky symbol for Hawaii People. Food was great and service excellent.
You won't regret the drive to the village to eat here! It's always busy so be sure to make reservations. They make their pasta in house and their desserts are to die for. My favorite is the tiramisu. I eat here pretty often and the service is always top notch!
