Kuhio Grille in Hilo exceeded our expectations with delicious Hawaiian dishes. My husband loved the flavorful laulau, while the kalua pig I had was fantastic. The fried rice was a standout dish definitely worth trying. The restaurant offers good views, and the service was quick and attentive. A great dining experience overall!

Overall a delightful dining experience. Wonderful service, very friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. The food was very tasty as well the Katsu Chicken and the fried rice in particular were a delight.
Lots of great food options, cute and peaceful spot that we appreciated seemed one that locals also enjoy.Saimin was fantastic, and every protein we had was perfectly prepared and seasoned. (Teriyaki pork, catsu chicken, yakatori chicken)Portions were massive, and certainly shareable.
