Sun Sushi - Waianae

AWESOME TAKE AUS Swish dining environments are few and far between in Waianae, unless you count the chain restaurants. But Sun Sushi offers sushi freshened while you wait. It is worth waiting to know that it is made from fresh ingredients and experts. It is delicious and perfect to take and eat in the sun or at dusk watching waves or sunset. The couples who make the food, the owners, have long been there and they seem to order very gentle people to provide an excellent meal. The store is a bit away on the sea side of the highway, but worth hunting. We order from there several times every time we visit Waianae.

After going in a decent hike in Waianae my wife and I wanted sushi and didn't want to drive all the way back through the brutal traffic before sitting down and relaxing. The elderly gentleman didn't speak English very well, but we were able to order with no problem. The sushi was very fresh with good quality and surprisingly... cheap. A word I've never before used(or since) to describe sushi. I felt it was affordable while good quality. I would definately suggest stopping in.

One of the hidden places to eat good sushi in the city of Waianae, the fish are really fresh,rice is not too muddy or hard its perfect, fillings in the sushi are perfect, sushi is perfect space temp, price is reasonable, love to come here and order some more.

Lord. I don’t even know how to explain this place, except perhaps “confusing” and “an absolute revelation”. I really never had sushi so good before and can't wait to go back! We stopped at this point on the basis of the reviews, and they were NOT wrong. I never had sushi in my life this spectacular. It seems simple, but every piece is absolute perfection. Four months later, I'm still dreaming about this place. Go! But call in your order well in advance... it's slow, but worth every moment.
