L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - Waianae

The place is clean and has excellent service, but they need to have tables and chairs for dining in. Customers shouldn't have to eat outside.

Finished a long day of work and wanted something other than fast food for dinner. Called restaurant twice 30 min before closing and no one answered. Decided to go in anyway when I pulled into the parking lot 20 min before closing the open sign was still on. Parked and looked again and it was still on. Began walking and open sign was still on. It wasn 't until I was 5 steps away from the door that it turned off. I opened the door and guy was sitting on the side facing wall didn 't even turn around and lady behind counter didn 't come out from behind the signage and I saw her see me as I walked toward the restaurant. I kindly said hello and guy didn 't even turn around he just said we 're closed and lady came out from behind the signage chewing and said they closed long time already. All while the phone is ringing and they 're sitting there. If they are not the owners, hope they were clocked out. And if they were the owners then please update your hours online bc it 's very misleading and don 't say you were closed for a while and the sign was still on 10 seconds ago. Why does the website say 9PM if they don 't answer the phone at 8:30PM and turn off their open sign 20 min before, when a customer is walking towards the establishment. I work in food and beverage, I get that it can be stressful and tiring but this is very disappointing.

For as long as L L have been around, I've always loved their grinds! But I must say, Nanakuli's L L is awesome! Delicious food great customer service! Keep up the awesome grinds guys gals)!!

Got Food from here last night the beef stew and loco moco Terrible and Chinese lady has a eye problem

Beef stew...terrible..meat was tough..potatoes half cooked...carrots...no comment..gravy was watery....lose money
