YUMM-O. I'm not Filipino, but I'm married to one. I'm very picky when I eat Filipino food, but there's this one dish in Merlina 's that I just love the thing is, I have no idea what it's called, neverther does my husband. I just know it's pigs, peas, other things and it's yellow. I call it the "yellow bastards." I could eat it almost daily.
Get in the wall Filipino restaurant in Whitmore Village. It is not the sweetest place, but so you know that there is a good, authentic, homemade food. The first time I'm a Wahiawa native. They sell ala Cart, on the plate, and plates. It looks like many people have ordered for records that I will do next time. I went a few hours before graduation so that the food doesn't look fresh, but we enjoyed it. Salty and hearty food that meets the place and carries something comfortable because it will surely be Kanaaks later.
My wife loves the food here. We drive all the way from Kaneohe to pick up their Philippino food.
Always Wonderful To Make The Drive Out To Whitmore From Redhill To Get Delicious Lechon, Made Fresh....
