When in Wagga we no longer stay at the hotel, but on Saturday morning for breakfast around approx. 8.30 a.m. arrived There was a sign...wait for an employee. We waited, waited, waited....After about 15 minutes we helped us at the buffet. My mother had a coffee that was cold, I went for a juice. Much to choose, but no glasses. Finally, a nice girl came to make cappuccinos in another area. We made our order for hot breakfast. Meanwhile others came to the room and began to order cappuccinos. After about 15 minutes I could see our breakfast waiting in the kitchen servery. The girl made cappuccinos when our breakfast was there. In the meantime, six more records have been connected to the server, all of which are just sitting there. After another 15 20 minutes I walked and took her from the kitchen edge and brought her to our table. Both meals were soggy and cold. The other six were still sitting there after we had finished and paid our cold meals. Meals were not cheap and we will never do it again.
We have dined with two adult children and so enjoyed our meals that we return five days later with two friends. The meal was great, we all enjoyed what we had ordered. The candy was perhaps the best we had in every restaurant we visited. We will return.
Two Queen Beds, 2 Air Conditioning, 2 TV, Kitchenette with Microwave, Full Fridge, Sink, Cutlery and Crockery. Two lounges and a balcony. Spacious beds with modern white linen. Excellent room for my daughter and me. Walking distance to everything, including Woolworths and Main Street.
We needed a place to dinate for our one night stop in Wagga with a local guide, we ended up booking this restaurant. It took some detective work because the number was not correctly recorded in the book, but I'm glad we stayed. All our dishes were very pleasant, from cauliflower soup, scallops, salmon and very pleasant soufflés. The staff was very pleasant and attentive.
In its time this was the in place to stay in Wagga. Today is just a sad tired hotel. In my suite paint and plaster off the walls. Shower head sent water every which way. The carpet was worn in high traffic areas. I think...it was booked out and only one wait person on duty for breakfast. There better hotels for same money.
