Bidrage med feedbackOwner Brian Cheryl from Egg-Cetera Café 241 E Frontage Rd. Waconia MN 55387 hours – Monday Sunday 7 to 12:45 Proudly to welcome you and your family to their restaurant. The atmosphere is currently filled with seasonal Halloween decorations that touch your eyes and mind on a journey that put a smile on your face and some memories of Halloween past. I am told that the Christmas decorations are quite extensive and are also displayed at the time. This alone has and will warm the hearts of many customers and make the trip well worth your time. There are also many eyes candy for those who have outdoors with hunting lodge types of pictures of hunting dogs and hand carved and painted wild fowl and fish that have attached some blue ribbons to them is a lot to see. I have been a recurring customer since my first visit to this extraordinary, now favorite breakfast spot. The owners have a passion for family and seniors and I must say it is a local favorite with many regular. The menu is very nice and the portions generous and the value is just right. I don't think I've seen anything in the menu over $10. I had the chance to chat with Cheryl, which is the most friendly waitress who gets to know your order and moves like lightening, and most times has your drink order before you even sit down. After going there a few times, she has thought of my order and there are three of four variations and always offers a conversation that lets you laugh with some interesting cuttlebutt of time. Then I must say the eggs Brian cooked are some of the best about simple eggs everywhere. The signature breakfast is the Egg-Cetera Omelet, this is one you want to try if you have a hearty appetite, as it is quite full with all the ingredients nothing to add as it is all there. Finally, there is a display of the city of Waconia showing all buildings and water tower, I do not know how many ceramics or handmade items they have, but it is a lot, and they are illuminated and you have a good time to consider just that for a while. After I went back a few more times, I now know that there is a story to almost every and every piece. People from all over the city have donated personal items so that it has become a kind of community effort to build this ad. I really wanted to write this for the Egg-Cetera Café and if you go there to check it, you will know why. So my secret is out... This is a great place to go to do yourself a favor and enjoy a breakfast or lunch while the decorations are on the display. Enjoy!
All right. You only have one server so are understated. They were from rye. Toast looked good up, but under, it was burned in the middle and raw at the edges. Sausage was watery/runny. Strawberries were disappointed, but old pink and soggy. It wasn't terrible, but I ate and MUCH better mother
A beautiful old diner. We tried the Ei-Ketera-Omelette. Delicious! Waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The environment is very Minnesotan. We recommend this cozy diner!
Super yummiest, great tasting food. Very country honestly and reminded me of home as soon as I walked in. Had steak omelet with hash, it's very filling. Steak and eggs cooked perfect, and staf very friend and forward. Looking forward to when I can go back! Agian I go and it still amazing food and staff, if you find yourself in waconia please stop by here for breakfast and show the staff some love!
The breakfast was good, the omelette portion was huge and tasty. The coffee needs improvement. Breakfast places should serve better.
