Taqueria La Chona - Waco

If it is a local or not this place is a must! the owners and all the workers are the best! my favorite must be the asada quesadillas, perfect texture! not chew. my 9-year-old agrees, one must moose for her taco, and Quesadilla requests!

My food overall was good! However, the barbocoa was lighter in color than what I'm used to. The alpastor was deeeeliiiicious!!! THAT alone is worth going there back! The pata de puerco was good cold, but warmed up is the way I like it. The large size cuerito tostada was big in size. Just needed crema. The Jarritos were so good so cold!!! The outdoor seating was perfect!!! Overall, it's worth going going back! Good job La Chona!!!

The tacos al pastor were absolutely incredible! We tried a lot of different items on the menu and everything was wonderful! The owners were so helpful and very kind...we will definitely return the next time in Waco!

This place has the best pastor that I've ever eaten. The hot sauce is fantastic as well. If you like spicy, tell them you want the spicy sauce and you will not be disappointed. The flavor is great and pairs perfectly with the pastor tacos. I can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu! Once I opened my tacos up, they looked so good that I completely forgot to take a picture and I immediately started to dig in. I will be visiting again soon and will try to post some pictures of the food. La Chona lives up to the hype!

It was a very good price, the portions are good for the breakfast burrito ?, and they are a delicious way to start the day.
