That has always been my sandwich in waco! since I live near valley mills dr., I choose this position, but if I had a mtg. or date in the city, I eat there or take out. I have eaten other local sandwiches when they were provided at the mtg, but imo they just don't compare.

This is such a cool, friendly sandwich place just a few blocks from the dr. pepper museum. the perfect place for a lunch after visiting the museum. her nameshake sandwich the Schmaltz sandwich sounds absolutely delicious, but I didn't try it (not a ham eater). Instead, I had her veggie sandwich on the jalapeño cheese-red. really good! others on my table had the boil salat and other sandwiches were all delicious and the people behind the theke are friendly and patient when they have asked. do they make this a visit? place on their next trip to waco.

It was in order, I don't really agree with the Rave reviews that convinced me to come here. waiting was absolutely ridiculous for a Thursday before the lunch break and what I consider to be a basic order. it took about 45 minutes. it was for 2 people, both order everything exactly as it was on the menu. there is no sign when you say that you order something first or something, somehow confusing. it was not so busy at this time. it wouldn't hurt anyone running around and making the tables clean. I think it's rough. I am an average baker and have made a better brot at home. I am austin and originally NYC/CT. this place would not survive any of these three places. the people who saved on this place have no standards of food. hardly a meat on the sandwich, both mine and personally with which I went. I was still hungry after eating what I ordered. drinks are coarsely too expensive. the tee is absolutely terrible. it was hardly sweet. the bathroom was disgusting. the toilet paper was on the floor. the holder was broken. would not recommend.

Had the Small Blue Plate special... Well woth the price... Potato salad and sandwich were ????, friendly staff... Should check it out
