Wood Buffalo Bar & Grill - Wabasca

The service at this restaurant was just awful. We called ahead and were told that they close at 9, so we arrived around 8:30 after a long day of work in the cold. Despite our hunger, they refused to cook for us because there were only three of us. It was a disappointing experience after spending two nights there and giving them our business. We felt like they just didn't care about where their money came from.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a large restaurant that impressed me as much as this one did. I tried the fish and chips, ramen soup, and Teriyaki chicken, and all three dishes were delicious!

The steak was overcooked to the point where it was inedible, the pulled pork was unappealing, but the drinks were enjoyable.

The wings are always great here, half on Tuesday. The really hot option is too hot, which can't say many places. Recommended.

I came up for a business trip to Wabasca and the people we met recommended this hotel restaurant. We had to move around some tables to fit 9 of us but we were accommodated for a late lunch. The food came out relatively quick considering...9 dishes were being coordinated. I look forward to coming back on our next business trip
