Le Bon Vivant - W MONTREAL

Great service. The menu seemed really nice but all the food we ordered was quite average. To be fair, it was also average price. The restaurant is really small so I highly recommend making reservations and I would specify NOT the seats next to the bathroom. Was an awful situation those seats are in, the door to the bathroom literally opens onto your seat and it only has one stall so if anybody is waiting in line they are waiting right on top of you.

My husband had the egg and Amsterdam old cheese Sandwich. I had the meat dish the beans, bacon and sausage, I was told it came with eggs. And thought that would be too much food. So I canceled the egg portion. Which actually was a mistake. The portion of beans was quite small. But delicious. My husband’s sandwich was amazingly good. And huge. The fresh juices were great. The place was noisy packed and very jolly. We will definitely return.

All in all the fare at Le BV is great, nothing disappointed. The portion sizes are what you expect. You will leave satisfied. Le BV wine list is well crafted. BUT the desserts are (as is always said) To Die For. We all chose a different one and none disappointed. You will enjoy the evening. RESERVE RESERVE Le BV is small and intimate.

We had a great meal here..it's a good place to go when people want a variety of food as there is something for everyone....we.started with the cauliflower broccoli haloumi appetizer....and then we enjoyed our mains...pasta, grilled fish....were outstanding.....as was the chocolate cake. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was fun, small cosy....and it's a nice small space..........casual atmosphere.....fine dining prices.

Came with friends and was impressed by the taste, presentation and variety in their gourmet brunch menu. A little pricey for brunch but worth it. Service was excellent, decor was industrial chic, atmosphere was casual relaxed. A last-minute find and very pleased with experience.
