Wine Bar Restaurant Artichoke

I was super surprised with the imaginative menu. If you get tired of same old-same old stuff, this place gives you local delicacies with a twist. Food is fresh, high quality and delicious. And to round it all up, it has an amazing cocktail and wine selection. Our waiter Misho is the nicest, friendliest, most pleasant person, so much love for that guy. Highly recommend!

We ate at Artichoke on arrival in Jelsa and have spent the rest of our 7 days trying to find something to match.... make no mistake there is a lot of good food available in Jelsa but I really don't think anything quite matches Artichoke. Out waiter, Misho, was attentive, friendly and fun while recommending dishes, other venues and even tourist sights. We are Tuna steaks, lamb, a burger and a vegetarian dish and all were incredible.... the lamb I ate was the best dish I have had on my 3 week holiday around Italy and Croatia. We'll keep recommending Artichoke to friends hopefully we'll get to eat there once more before we leave.

Great wine selection, fantastic local food with the kindest waiters. Their seafood and fish is a must try you gonna love it even if you are a chicken/steak person� Best place for a dinner on Hvar island!

Good food, professional AND personal service! But best of all... wide selection of wine on the glass, to enjoy with food or in the bar section!
