Bidrage med feedbackThe executive deserves the detour alone, it is for this kind of place that we do not get tired of italia in particular and of europa in general. in the kitchen, we let ourselves be guided by a user of the site and the map that offers in addition to the usual regional dishes several preparations with boar. the appetizer deli was good and attractive for its originality. the wild boar dish with black olives was good, with a lot of body, that I appreciate. the same animal's grill was too cooked and the dried meat lacked tenderness. The spaghetti vongole was good, thanks to the vongole, nothing more. For desserts, strawberry ice cream was a real pleasure, the uninterrupted Catalan cream, the tiramisu that every family in the region has for its recipe was not light enough and sweet for my drop. the staff was very kind. this establishment seems to have had its apogee according to the published photos, but since then it has worked a lot of water under the bridge. more interesting for the place than for the contents of the dish.
Food was good, service was really good and to sit outside and enjoy Dinner on a summer evening in the old Town. Volterra is a very beautiful old Town and am sure there should be other places to have really good food there too.
Good wine and amazing steak. My partner and I had a 1.2kg Bistecca alla Fiorentina (Florentine steak) with a bottle of Chianti. They were having a promotion and we paid just under 50 euros for all these.
So nice to walk into a restaurant and be told they can make anything on the menu gluten free such a nice change to having a limited choice Lovely wine too!
Eaten typical Tuscan food. very typical and characteristic local staff, very courteous and helpful with good service. lunch was very nice. the room was clean, like the bathrooms. we were served a Florentine with vegetables. cut very appreciated. as well as like pappardelle and sweets
