A beautiful caffe with outside seats as well as interior spaces. the coffee (machiatto) was fabulous, like a local sweet name called "paste fresche ".

In the 1990s, at the time of scientific high school, I often stopped in the morning to have breakfast as young people for us students had become almost a rite before facing the morning of the school. at a distance of many years, on this occasion, I ordered a gluten-free cake to bring to the restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday and the result was exceptional, I loved it! a base of biscuits with a semi-fredd of Bavarian garnished with meringues, strawberries and a lot of fresh cream.

Had a really good breakfast in Volterra. Perfect service, very good cappuccino and the best brioche I have ever had!! Recommended for sure.

We stopped into the small but bustling pastry shop during our visit to Volterra. There was a large choice of nice looking pastries. I had a delicious apple filled pastry and a large cappuccino and it was a wonderful way to start our visit to this charming Tuscan hill town. The owners and staff were very friendly and warmly welcomed us to the shop.
