Zur Schwane - Volkach

We had diner only once but it was a very nice experience (we just had one dish and some wine). Courtyard a nice place to enjoy in the summer. Opened quite late for German restaurant. Price quite high. Excellent shop also if you want to...buy a few bottles of local wine. The hotel and restaurant has its own vineyards. Recommended.

We had a nice meal sitting outside under vines. that was delicious. the appetizer of salmon trout was perfest, but is too expensive. the lamb legs and the blacks were raised. weine are local and good. service friendly and professional

If they are looking for a bucking cheap food and much of it . this is not the place when they are looking for a better kitchen. this is the place where eating is excellent, well prepared, well presented and worth the money. the staff is excellent...because my wife can't speak German, they quickly changed to English and menus. the local wine was also very good. the environment is elegant and yet friendly. I have nothing bad to say and I will come back.

I'm sorry, but that's one of the worst places I was. the room was cold, so cold, that I was sleeping with sock while I had booked another hotel. the bed was not comfortable at all, the room looked like it was in the building.The bathroom... oh my. they used blanc flowing, which were ice cold to go further. the wc was so close to the wall that they had to sit on the side. the breakfast was ok, you can say that they are trying to make a good one, but it wasn't that good. the best part is their policy. if they want to go earlier than they have reserved the room, they must pay 90% of their reservation if they want to go earlier. I can say that I was pretty crazy, but I paid and went, and I will never ever come back nor recommend other people to stay here. the lady at the reception was really surprised when I told her that the room was really cold and I could say that she can. my friend has a large room, although the standard has booked while I took a super room. superiour my a! no, please avoid, don't even think about booking this house. I slept in the car.

Amazing good eating with great variety. local dishes and more traditional available. beautiful wine selection. great personal service. a tasty and a pleasure b
