Where do I start... Upon arriving, we stood around for five minutes without any assistance. The server noticed us waiting but chose to look away. Eventually, he acknowledged us and informed us that it was open seating. The beer we ordered was excellent, but the wine was served in a dirty glass, clearly showing lipstick marks from across the table. While the food was enjoyable, the service left much to be desired on a Wednesday night. I'm baffled as to why this place has such a high rating.
I loved the cozy, intimate atmosphere with the Supremes playing softly in the background. We ordered Brie, onion rings, a sandwich, and a blue salad. After waiting 45 minutes... then 60 minutes... then 90 minutes... we were still without our food. As we were headed to a movie, I started to get concerned, so I mentioned it to the waiter. He told me he was busy with another table. He eventually brought out the Brie, which was delicious, but still no sign of the rest of our order. I asked him to check on the other items or to see if we could cancel them. Unfortunately, we had to leave. Two hours later, he finally brought out the sandwich, but we still hadn’t received the salad or onion rings. We decided to take the sandwich to go, settled the bill, and left. The Brie was fantastic, and the sandwich was alright, but I’m not sure if this wait time is typical. I would recommend you plan for a three-hour experience here. Overall, very disappointing.
One of the best restaurant experiences in a very long time. The service was great and every item on the menu looked outstanding. Everything we ordered was great. The people were awesome too. The night we were there they had a band (Jerry’s Kidz) and it really made our night. Our two kids (ages 2 and 5) loved it too. We will be back.
One of my most favoritest places. The food is incredible and matched by the atmosphere. The owners are wonderfully personable and have become fast friends. There's a plethora of things to do, whether it's playing obscure records or odd instruments to painting on the walls, diy crafts, salsa lessons, belly dancing, watching a movie outside or just having a lively conversation with the owners, there's never a dull moment to be had. I can not recommend this place more. Ps ask for the rueben fries-you're welcome ?
