El San Marcos Mexican - Visalia

Delicious crispy tacos. And, the chips are homemade and yummy. Service was great. Hard to spot if you're going north, but if you're long time local, it is in the old Hagopians across from Davorns.

I walked in for the first time, cuz i wanted to eat a Chile Verde Wet Burrito, never been here before ,but I was close by. I ordered my burrito and boy was it pricey. I opened my box to make sure they got my order right. I tell the cashier that this isnot a Chile verde burrito, there is not pork meat and it had the green sauce that looks like green enchilada sauce from a can.The chef comes out and tells me that is a Chile Verde Burrito the meat is in the inside and the green sauce is Chile verde. Ididn't want to complain, so I went home with this burrito. I took a bite of this so call Chile verde burrito and first it lookslike chicken meat and it does not taste like Chile verde. It was the worst Chile verde burrito I have ever had. I could not eatit it was just gross. I will never eat there again.

I visited Visalia for work and was craving some good Mexican food, so I took my girlfriend to this restaurant. I was really impressed by the beans and rice—definitely a sign of an authentic Mexican eatery. The main dishes were excellent as well! I highly recommend the flautas and enchiladas; they excelled in both quality and portion size. The customer service was also outstanding. I can't recommend this place enough—definitely a 10 out of 10!

My sister and I tried the shrimp tacos (I can't recall the exact name, but they came with three tacos and had cheese on the outside). They were absolutely delicious, especially when warm. Topped with caramelized onions and Serrano peppers, they were a real treat. We also ordered enchiladas with red sauce and coffee flan, both of which were fantastic! The flan was quite rich, but incredibly enjoyable!

We ordered several dishes, and they were all delicious. The salsa was very flavorful, and the flan had a wonderful consistency. There was plenty of space inside for us to bring in our stroller. This has become our new favorite Mexican restaurant in town!
