Cafe California - Visalia

This was the best restaurant experience I've ever had! The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and soothing. Located within a well-established hotel, it offered beautiful views and great amenities. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, making sure to note our allergies. The nachos we ordered exceeded our expectations; the cheese sauce tasted homemade and had a delightful kick! They even included three different types of chips for a nice contrast in flavors. The grilled cheese and all our other dishes were expertly prepared. Although we ordered a vegetarian salad but forgot to mention that we don't eat mushrooms, both the cook and waiter graciously agreed to replace the mushrooms for us without any charge, even though it wasn't their fault. The children's menu was impressive, featuring a large bowl of fruit, a delicious sandwich, and two generous servings of ice cream for just $6! By the end of the meal, we were pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was compared to nearby restaurants of lesser quality. We absolutely loved it!

Another wonderful experience at Cafe California! If you haven't tried the shrimp avocado, you absolutely should—it’s amazing! This slightly delicious appetizer is so satisfying that it could easily be a meal on its own.

My husband and I dined here on December 26, 2018. Our server, Jose, was attentive and quick. We ordered the fish and chips, which were excellent. The house salad and bread were also fantastic. I will certainly recommend this place to friends and family. I would definitely come back again.

BEST FOOD EVER! Beef tenderloins in wine sauce. Garlic mash. Salad and soup bar. Great staff. Great atmosphere.

My husband and I just ate dinner here, and we are pleasantly surprised! I had seared Scallops with lemon Burreblanc, and he had Ribeye steak with pecan butter. Both were perfectly prepared, and delicious!! We then shared Creme Brule. Service was stellar, and our compliments to the chef! This place is a must, when in Visalia California!!
