Excellent local cuisine. Various types of meal per Thursday! Definitely order on the line and stop.

They prepared food for my sister's wedding and did a fabulous job. The event was family only and the day changed at the last moment due to weather. They were flexible and were able to deliver the food to us on shorter notice. It was delicious and helped make everything even more memorable.

Stopped in for their Friday night tacos- yum! My parents tried the trio of tacos and it was a toss up between the chicken and the fish for most delicious! I had the salad, and it was also tasty. The cocktails were awesome. We really enjoyed the vibe and decor. The staff were a highlight- all friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to eat and spend time with folks, if you're in Viroqua on the right nights (only open certain nights).

Dani and crew never fail to produce the most awesome dining experience in our region! Whether it be curbside, or dining in hopefully that will happen next year! . We miss that camaraderie but appreciate, far more than words can say, the opportunity to continue to enjoy their wonderful, locally sourced, amazing cuisine, and their excellent choices for wine to accompany the meals. Having delicious food at our wedding was a must and Dani and Rooted Spoon did not disappoint! From our initial conversations to the wedding day she was a pleasure to work with- creative, flexible and full of energy! We wanted a menu to really wow our guests and Dani was fantastic in helping us come up with a stellar menu. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was- even our most discerning “foodie” guests. She is a talented chef and it comes through in the details of the menu.
