Yama Sushi Bar - Virginia Beach

This sushi spot has become a family favorite! Our family has 4 vegans and 2 non-vegans, and we all leave happy—every visit. They always bring free Edamame to the table “on the house” upon arrival. I always get miso soup and cucumber salad, which is a huge order usually shared w/ hubby that is delicious. After the appetizer items, they also bring free vegetarian egg-rolls “on the house.” Then, I always order vegetable rolls of some sort. Our non-vegan child gets other sushi rolls. They also offer free cheesecake squares for dessert that we decline. All in all, we always leave full happy. We also appreciate that the restaurant is clean and quiet, providing a relaxing meal.

Went here with my daughter (who is not vegan). Fast, friendly service in a clean restaurant. I ordered special veggie roll and seaweed salad. Salad came right away, along with a FREE plate of steamed edamame. Special Veggie roll also came with a small seaweed salad on the plate. With the bill, she brought us a FREE plate of fried veggie spring rolls (she said she noticed that I avoid meat, so she made sure to bring us veggie ones). We had a wonderful dining experience with no complaints.

I always get miso suppe and gurkensalat, which is a huge order (in which is usually divided w/ hubby,) which is delicious. after the appetizers, they also bring free vegetarian egg rolls to the house. then I always arrange a nice roll. our non-vegan child gets other sushi rolls. they also offer free cheesecake places for dessert that we lose weight. all in all, we always let ourselves be happy. we also appreciate that the restaurant is clean and quiet and offers a relaxing meal.

The best in the city! these are my families. recently it seems as if it could be under new management? it's still great not to make me wrong. the sushi is delicous, the service is ingenious and apart from dirty ventilation in the deck it is really cozy inside. they even give children fun toys and their moss free games and gloomy. the midday Bento boxes are the best! for 8 dollars they can not go wrong!
