Old Beach Farmers Market

This is one of my favorite things to do on Saturdays! One of my favorite booths is Rome With Love they have the BEST olive feta bread. The cheddar jalapeño pretzels from Staz a licious Bakery are SO good for sandwiches. You won’t be disappointed by anything from either of these two places. I also bought a gorgeous crystal (rainbow fluorite) from a very nice seller in the grassy area.

It was fun visiting Farmers Market. It's my first time coming here, and we enjoyed every vendor they have to offer. They had fresh vegetables, healthy pies, and baked goods, plants, organic vinegar, and oil, I love the organic soap for men. I bought six different flavor soaps for my son and husband. They even have doggie treats for the furbabies. We got there late and didn't have enough time to visit all the vendors. But I would love to stop by again the next time we fly to Virginia.

Drove 30 minutes to get there. Drove around a 4 block area for another half hour to find parking, for which there was NONE!Towing signs everywhere. Va convention center refused parking because of an event. A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT! Especially because your website said there was free parking across the street from the market. If you want the support of locals you need to fix the parking situation or move your venue. Was so willing to support local small business. Now I guess it will be back to kroger for produce. They have plenty of parking.

Time well it seems to fly ! Our son (Rodney Einhorn) Chef Owner of Terrapin Restaurant was one of the original venders at Old Beach Farmers Market (selling his fresh made bread, granola and Sorbet), and now a few years later from 2007 to 2023 *haha, we are venders with our Ice Cream store (GERALD 'S ICE CREAM). It is such a pleasure to be at this very local and charming Farmers Market. We enjoyed it so much all those many years ago and always loved its being a place to meet up purchase fresh, natural and house made products.Thank you for making us feel at home and for having us be a part of the old beach community of caring and concerned individuals.
