Super tasty food. Lovely decor, nice touch with sky cover on lights. We went to Cape Charles and had an awful lobster roll at Jennys/Rick's food truck. It screamed to be redeemed, and A Bite of Maine did not disappoint. A suggestion would be to put more butter on Connecticut roll. I felt Like it was a Maine mayo roll with butter added. As well poke holes (large ones in to go contai er so fries and fried food won't get soft. The shrimp platter and fries were delicious!!

Staff here all were Amazing. Very friendly and everyone was working hard in a very busy little restaurant. Our food was fantastic. Highly recommended

Worth the HOUR drive, whenever I want a REAL Authentic Lobster Roll! Phone ahead so you get to SKIP the line! Their staff who answers the phone is always cool! Great rolls, ONLY meat, no other filler or sauce besides the buttered roll!

First time visiting here was on Mother's Day. If you are in a hurry, don't come on Mother's Day, it is their busiest day of the year. That being said, they don't have the infrastructure to pull off a high volume day like this. I called ahead at 420, was told it would be 35 minutes on the phone, arrived at 455, waited for an hour, and left with my food at 6 (they didn't start making my order until after I waited in line 45 minutes to pay). Some advice for management: don't take phone orders when you're too busy to fill them. It is better to be honest with your customers and let them know you are too busy to fill to-go orders over the phone than to make them wait for an hour in the restaurant packed in line like sardines. There was really no direction or indication of what was going on when I arrived, just wait in line and figure it out when you get to the window. Very haphazard service that detracted from the experience. The woman (I think she was the owner) at the window was very kind, and the kitchen staff was trying their absolute best, but the execution was poor overall. Don't hold people hostage, let them know what's going on so they can make an informed decision on whether they want to wait that long. That being said, the food was good. Fresh lobster roll. Hot fries. Chowder was a little watery for my liking, but overall, 3 stars. Kids were happy with the massive chicken sandwich.
