Coastal Grill - Virginia Beach

Great seafood, casual/elegant dining room and wonderful/intensive service.

The food was very good, but beside us was a table of 13, which included 6 children under 6 years. the children scream and walk during the meal. as soon as they left the atmosphere was good. at the end of the meal we gave our ticket to the valet and brought us the wrong car. the car was a 2010 ford escape that was identical to our car. After sitting in the cold for five minutes, they brought us the right car. the next day I used the car, I noticed that connected to the car key was someone else's house key. I immediately alerted the restaurant and as this villa they did not find the owner of the house key. my recommendation for the future is that the valet writes the license number of each car that they value. Overall, this was a nice outing that was ruined by loud young children and the careless Valet staff.

Coastal has had a reputation for consistently presenting food that never disappoints. The chicken is my forever favorite go to. My Husband always gets the tuna. Other family members say it’s the salmon that brings them back. It’s a treat on a plate we always look forward to. No matter which dish you choose, it will always please the palate.
