Buoy 44 - Virginia Beach

We stopped for lunch on the boje 44 and had an amazing experience. valet parking is comfortable; sitting outside was nice; eating was delicious and the service was also quite good. I was betrayed that they were made of black salmon, but we loved our garnel tacos and baja fish (mahi) tacos.

The Jack and Coke on the rocks was also excellent. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend arriving and ordering before 6 PM to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere. We left shortly after 6 PM, and it started getting very busy, which I’m sure meant longer wait times for food—totally understandable. I highly recommend this place, but do remember to bring cash for tipping the valet!

My wife and I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere, food, and drinks are all exceptional, yet it maintains a casual vibe. It’s our go-to spot for lunch, dinner, or just to grab a drink. The view of the bay is breathtaking all year round.

The food was fantastic, and the view of the landscape and sunset from this location couldn't be better. The drinks were also excellent. The sangria is made with a dry red wine, so it may not be ideal for those who prefer a sweeter taste, but it's still amazing!
