Cazadores Mexican Food - Virginia

Have had dinner here, but this was first time having lunch. Sadly, this was a poor lunch experience. A sign asked us to wait to be seated, but after 10 minutes of wIting, NOT ONE server came up to great us. Only after I walked into the eating area, where several servers were sitting casually around, did one server get up immediately followed by the others to greet us. We still selected our seating. Secondly, the food was not hot; actually, the rice from two meals was cool (not warm), hard, and dry. As stated, dinner time meals have been good. Suggest eating here for dinner, but not lunch.

The staff is nice. The food was very well timed. Everything tasted amazing. Worth stopping in for if you're feeling Mexican food. The toughest thing is deciding what dishes to get with all of the choices but everything we've ate there has been good.

The salsa here is excellent, which is crucial for any Mexican restaurant. (If you encounter someone serving watery tomato sauce as salsa, steer clear!) However, the refried beans are quite runny, and many of the dishes don't quite capture the essence of authentic Mexican cuisine. At most, it feels like Tex-Mex. I've tried this place three times now, but I keep returning for the salsa, haha!

We've dined here several times. The food is tasty, but the service can be inconsistent. At times, our meals arrive promptly with an excellent server, while other times we encounter a rude server or one who seems to forget about us entirely and doesn't return to take our order during the lunch rush.

Actually, it was quite disappointing. I ordered a Philly cheese steak burrito, and it was neither a good Philly cheese steak nor a decent burrito. There was little to no flavor, and it was drenched in a bland, mushy American cheese.
