Red Jasmine Thai Cuisine - VINTON

Our favorite Thai restaurant in the Roanoke area. Pleasant atmosphere, very attentive waiting staff and delicious dishes. I had the Amazing Duck record today. The duck was moist and delicate, and the accompanying vegetables were just cooked enough to be delicate and tasteful. Always fresh vegetables, never frozen. Her peanut dress is wonderful on her garden salad.

Awesome. My favourite Thai restaurant. The owner does it all and she is so polite, friendly and very capable. The atmosphere is welcoming, not overdone! Best pad Thai ever..I get the shrimp version. Her curries come with your choice of protein. I always leave feeling taken care of and at very, very reasonable prices. Give it a try! You won't regret it

Red Jasmine is a wonderful Thai restaurant in downtown Vinton. We enjoyed a delicious meal of red curry and pad Thai. The food was fresh and had just the right heat. It was well worth the 35 mile drive! Currently they are only doing take-out due to Covid restrictions. We look forward to returning and dining in the restaurant.

Very good food, and I don’t mind paying a premium for fresh, authentic, flavorful food.... but the serving size was ridiculous for a $15 dinner. I had the mango curry chicken and it was so very good, but was less food than I’d expect for even a lunch. The chicken was good and tender, but only 2.5 to 3 ounces present at most. The sauce was rich and complex and perfectly balanced... but I was still hungry when I was done. Too expensive for what you get. Won’t be back.

We ordered 3 things: 1. Thai rolls crispy and tasty, dipping sauce was thin 2. Yellow curry (chicken) average flavor, meat/vegetables ratio was disappointing 3. Teriyaki chicken lots of garlic, nicely steamed broccoli, unfortunately, the chicken was very thin and rubbery...not edible!
