Jack Tar - Vinaròs

First time for Patacon con Tudo enjoyed a cheap meal by the beach with a 6 euro bottle of house white that was more than just ok thanks for a nice experiance.

I have not had Ceviche like this since I was in Nicaragua. It was hot with fresh chilli and just perfect with a Jarra served in an iced glass on a hot afternoon. It does not get better than that.

The Jack Tar burger was 8.50 but they make it in house and it is big enough and Had an egg. It was very nice i could still taste it on the walk down the promenade. My kids had the broaster chicken which was also well done. Service friendly and helpful, the owners were very casual yet everything was just right

I called at Jack Tar last week, I went there because at the end if the day it was almost the only bar/ restaurant that still had sunshine. The bar has recently reopened, I think it used to be called pepe's bar but it has had some alterations, a light refurb and has changed its name. I was very pleasantly surprised, it is run by an English man and his Spanish wife who were very friendly and gave excellent service. The food and drink was some of the best I've had in Vinaros and I will certainly make this a regular stop off point of mine. I saw lots of family's eating whilst I was there, their food also looked excellent and the service was good, two things that are often missing in Spanish restaurants.
