SALT Restaurant - VINALHAVEN

It should tell you something that during a week-long vacation in Vinalhaven, and with a fully-equipped kitchen at my disposal, I ended up eating here

I expected a little bit more given the price point and reputation of this restaurant.

Sat at the bar and Robert was taking care of us. He made amazing drinks for us. You MUST try one of his specials. The food was served quickly and was cooked perfectly. I will be back!

The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!

We recently dined at Scarlet Steak and Seafood for the fourth time. The restaurant offers a lovely fine dining experience with a great selection of dishes.
