Bidrage med feedbackTerrible service of preordered items. Waiting time more than 2 hours. Taking all orders and not fullfiling these. On New Years Eve. Highly not recomended. Inpatient, inpoliet stuff on top if all.
I'm sushi addicted, but I've never eaten so bad sushi in my life! I want to seriously ask people where they have learned to make sushi like that. btw, sushi is twice smaller than it should be. I didn't even eat. please don't let them be fooled by a reasonable price.
Should have read the reviews before I ordered... I wasn’t sure if it was just me or... however it turns out my opinion is exactly the same as others’. the type of rice they used did not seem to be right. sushi itself are not too small, however there is just a lot of rice which is tasteless, the whole sushi itself was; the pieces were of different sizes and untidy, I really don’t know how are they not ashamed to serve these to people... I was really craving sushi and I was really dissapointed.
The Sushi Square is located in a shopping center right next to a grocery store and is strategically well placed. many people see it while in the load to check for long enough to try the sushi. the menu had a quite large selection, most classic variations, fried and what I like to call the sandwich types (mayo, deli meat, some vegetables). I'm not a fan of sandwich types in person, but I'm not against them enough to have a negative opinion. the prices on the menu were something remarkable, most sets/rolls (they get 1 roll in 8 pieces cut) were 5-6 euro, which a fair bit lower than most sushi places. the lower price actually fahnen by some red, as I have a lot of economic calculations in the pricing, now, if the prices were lower due to the lower wage and location rental costs, then it is not so big a problem (without the paid employees participating), but if they buy lower quality products that have a big no-no. so I ordered some classic sushi and some fried, my selection included all more expensive ingredients, so I can really evaluate the food quality. three rolls lasted about 20 minutes. this noted that I was the only one who was there at the moment and commanded them only after mine and one came to get something in that time, so it is sure to say that they were empty until then. After 20 minutes I get my sushi. from the side is the ingwer the classic picked pink fabric that uses most places, although this seemed a little dried? as if it was in the air for some time. hopefully they didn't use uneaten ingwer of other customers again, otherwise they would go down to 1 star immediately. the wasabi was also the classic, green-coloured horseradish, nothing too impressive. now to sushi. the sushi was actually quite large. I don't know about other people, but I keep a perfect size sushi the size that it can fit in their mouth without shooting them. the classic sushi, were made beautiful, held firm (not chewing), the fillings were sufficient, but a tad too much rice, and the gurke was not despised. the fried sushi were overcooked and too bigger. there was too much rice for once, there was very little filling. cooked sushi should be hot, not hard as roasted brot. it was very hard to eat them, to fit them in my mouth was impossible. the products were all fresh, at one point I noticed that someone produce, probably source from the same food business next to, so they do not have to keep fresh products on hand. but local food stores sell only a few components that can be viewed as sushi class and used in sushi, and this actually shows in the taste of sushi. the sushi was actually quite tasteless, very neutral. the used rice was when the wrong type (not really a problem in my book when it was properly prepared), it was almost properly prepared as it held its shape and was not sticky, but it was bland and not seasonal! the rice has not added anything to the filler components. the fish, when it comes from the local food business, is probably stiff in quality. in my opinion, the fish must come from a local load, at least slightly salted and slightly smoked. the fish in sushi was very fresh. besides the fried roll, as they tried very hard to cook them. all in all, sushi has given the impression of a badly trained staff. most likely are the chefs without experience and follow only technological maps. this is the type of sushi that make them home by buying a recipe in the internet without too much prior knowledge, along with ingredients from the food store, the taste shows. in comparison to the wide competition fall behind. for those who do not spoil by the taste of the really good sushi, this place seems great. but for those who know how good sushi taste, this place is a desert. the strong point of this facility is that the prices are low and the sushi are fresh and yet good tasteless. but if they try good sushi, they see elsewhere.
We tried this place once. Suffice to say we are not going to buy sushi here again. Here 's why: >The rice felt like it was not done right. Also it seems you aren 't using sushi rice here. It should be soft and complement the whole sushi should flow together, but the rice just stands out and feels stiff and uneven. >The tuna on the nigiri felt like rubber. I almost gagged. It should be soft not chewy... >The fish in general was tasteless. Most likely some cheap frozen fish used here. >The crab sticks in the sushi also felt like damn rubber. >Wasabi? More like horseradish, cause it sure damn smells, looks and tastes like it. >In general, the sushi taste like nothing. Our dissapointment was immesurable and our day was ruined. Truly, not a pleasant experience. I guess there is a reason why this sushi chain only exists here and one restaurant at Šiauliai. The only good things is that from here you can only go up ¯ (ツ) ¯
