Pitarija Fire Place - Vilnius

It’s a great place to eat dishes roasted in a furnace with real firewood as the name suggests. My favorite here is Shakshouka always hot and it comes with a fresh pita bread delicious! Other dishes are also good to try here. Most of the sorting places here are for 2 people. So be warned if you’re coming with bigger groups.

As a local, I can confidently say that this is the best place to get the best shakshuka in the city! It's a cozy and simple spot with a fireplace and staff who creates incredibly delicious wonders.

We had hummus, breakfast pita and kuku eggs. Everything tasted . Atmosphere was a bit empty, but everything is clean and service is friendly. Would i go again? Yes. Would it be my regular place to eat? Most likely i would choose something else. Also if you are a coffee snob-go elsewhere :

The most important thing, which is the food, was fantastic. I got the Azerbaijan eggs “kuku”, which was delicious, and the house made pita was perfection. The reason they lose a star was because it was not friendly service at all. I sat there for a few minutes until someone finally looked at me and said that I needed to order at the counter. And then when I was done and paying my bill, there was just zero friendliness. They were installing a new coffee machine, so I think they were distracted with that. Either way, the food was great; the service and vibe? Not so much.
