Rindenmuhle - Villingen-Schwenningen

One of the good restaurant in this city. Quality seems to be high. Price very high. Often no place available if you are not reserving on time (especially on weekends)

The place is nice food great but menu says complimentary wine with course meal just to get the bill with all wines charged separate. I probably won’t be coming back but it was nice. Food was good. Good quality duck. And get wine

Rindenmuhle is the best in Villingen. Both the property and the service get my top rating. Located in a park like area 5 minutes from the town center it is at once Black Forest style and modern. I looked into a number of rooms and all were slightly different and equally attractive. They look like they've been renovated recently and there is even a new modern guest house building with 4 more rooms. But I think the main house room are the most interesting. Service is outstanding and friendly; I had some issues during my stay, nothing within the control of the staff, and they went over the top to make sure I was happy. Susanne at the desk and the rest of the staff are great.

This place is a classic German very goog Buergerliches Place. Food excellent quality and very tasty. We had dinner there with lamb shank and beef, which was very well done. Rare we asked and rare we got, which is not often the case in Germany. Great sauces and veggies.

I do recommend this restaurant because i do enjoyed to eat there.From the appetizer (all the time a good suprise) to the desert, it is true pleasure for your mouth and for your eyes.The food is all the time prepared with a lot of subtility for the tongue. Presentation and colors are very nice. Few tables even have LED lights that just reveal all the nice colors in your plate. The quality your meat is cooked.They have a very nice list of wines. You can order nice St-Estephe almost 10 years old for a price equals to what you will pay if you order in internet!Start to dicuss with the waiters and you will know a lot about all the details of the preparations. This is a restaurant where food is prepared with passion for passionated guests. For local german the prices seems a bit higher that they used to spend. But being honest with the value of the food and the quality it is prepared, it is for me really good value-price restaurant.
