I happened by chance having purchased a good taste on Groupon to take a trip in those beautiful places surrounding Lake Barrea. My intention was to go in motion with 2 friends because the roads are very suitable. Then I decided to go with the family. At first I had a bit of perplexity because normally hotel restaurants are bad. But this was very nice and he ate well. Let's talk about nothing special but typical dishes with good quality ingredients. Excellent sliced meat and cheese, truffled ravioli filled with vegetables and grilled sausage. The local wine is more than enough. Friendly owner (serve him at the particular hotel tables. To definitely return. Next time on the bike obviously.

Renovated and nice hotel the idea to customize each room. Well furnished with local style,clean,renovate,as new,wide and complete breakfast,prices content,it is worth choosing it

I found this restaurant on Groupon and bought a voucher for 4 people. I was going to go with a couple of friends on the bike because in those areas the roads are fantastic. Then since you couldn't organize, I went with my family. The restaurant is within a hotel on the road to Scanno. It is an old renovated building. Frankly I had some perplexity about the kitchen (usually the hotel is very flat) but we believed. The appetizer with salami, cheese and omelette was of good quality, the first discreti (optimize ravioli with vegetables and aroma of truffles), the sausage to the excellent grill while a step lower the scamorza. Nice 2 night stay in this property, in a room with a beautiful lake view. Very hospitable Piero and Luigi, who welcomed us with a delicious breakfast with delicious desserts. I highly recommend this family and comfortable hotel.

I'd have wanted to take the fettuccine to the truffle ragù but given the season I had to give up. On the other hand I ate a magnificent dish of spaghetti on the guitar with fresh truffle. A music for the palate. Also excellent mountain cutting board.
