Bidrage med feedbackNous avons mangé dans ce buffet avant de prendre notre train et je dois avouer qu'après le plat, nous avions encore faim.....nous avons donc pris le café gourmand supp 2€ plat dessert pour 20,50€ nous allions dans le midi et je peux vous dire que pour ce prix là, le menu était plus conséquent .. nous n'y retournerons pas lors de notre prochain passage....
Cuisine toujours créative et raffinée. Le cadre est chaleureux pour ceux qui aime l'authentique/vintage. Service de qualité. Petit bémol, sur le prix des vins au verre, qui pourrait être plus modéré, lorsque l'on se trouve dans la région de production..
I don’t think many tourists find their way to this restaurant. It was recommended by a local and we were lucky to get a table on a Tuesday lunchtime. The food was great and the service matched the food. I had the daily special which was a tomato salad and a fish main course. Both are excellent. My wife had salad lyonnaise which she enjoyed and I helped finish. Neither of us needed dessert. I thought this was an outstanding restaurant and I really enjoyed it. I recommend this restaurant.
An excellent recommendation from two local renowned wine makers and what a lovely spot. We are a young family and were made to feel very welcome. Food quality excellent at all levels and for lunch, this was simply spot on. Steak tartare very good, and everyone's courses met with high praise. Lunch for five (2 children) from the ala carte menu (2 courses each), with a glass each of house Morgon, less than 90 euros.
Don't go to Buffet de la Gare for some gastronomic experience. Instead, go to Buffet de la Gare for the full bygone French experience! The main room is full of old pictures, posters and that heavy French wooden furniture that comes from the 1950s. The food is similarly traditional not particularly fashionable, but all the better for it. The setting is the SNCF station in Belleville and after a few years in the doldrums, the current incumbents have lifted the place back to where it should be serving up a slice of bygone bistro dining highly recommended!
