Bidrage med feedbackWe happened completely by chance with this little restaurant and we look forward to our luck. The cartridge was very welcoming, although we arrived at 21.30. There are several set menus and we chose the one with duck cover. Don't come here unless you're starving because the portions are very generous. First a tasty local soup, then a huge salad with salad, tomatoes, egg and local delicacies such as chicken liver pate, black pudding and socissons. Then the main with delicious potatoes with bacon and ancillary dishes, but the highlight was the duck just great. All this was served with a quiet and unhurried courtesy. A local jewel!
This is my second visit to this magnificently picturesque and traditional establishment. They have a variety of price-driven set menus, but are more than willing to tone items that meet individual needs and taste. The quality of cooking is excellent and plentiful (has the 25 Euro menu and was good to enjoy) and if you wish to spend a bit more they are happy. Although they do not speak English, a crush of French will give you a long way. A must when in Villefranche and want something typical for the region.
This is a beautiful traditional restaurant with an authentic old-fashioned atmosphere. The staff is warm and welcoming. The menu has local specialties such as Aligot, a mixture of cheese and potatoes that tastes much better than it sounds. It was served with sausages that tasted homemade and some excellent sides: ratatouille, cured carrots and a large potato peel. We ordered a la carte, but this dish was also available on the Prix Fixe menu. We were also served a complementary bowl of excellent soup. It is also recommended to have the chalk salad plate which has small portions of a series of vegetarian prepared salads. A good selection of inexpensive wines through the bottle are available. Excellent service. A round fun experience. Plan for more than 60 euros for lunch for 2 with wine. Only French is spoken.

Alors entre le décor et le service c'est vintage. Mais question quantité et goût des plats, c'est le top. Sortir avec la faim ne me semble pas possible. Aligot, entrée, tout est top.
