Pizzeria La Cala Al Porto - VILLASIMIUS

We are sorry to read the bad reviews about la cala al porto, but we can say that we had a very good evening there! first, the restaurant is really big, I think there are 4 different dining rooms, and on. at least 200 people can eat there at the same time! So, yes, if you are in a hurry, it is probably not the best idea to eat in la cala in the high season! as well as we noticed that the staff makes a great job, they answered all our inquiries in time, and we were satisfied about the service that was friendly! we waited a little for order, but not so much, and the pasta courts came quickly! we started with spaghetti all the arselles that were really good! after we had her fritto misto, well cooked and delicious, and we had the tuna that was from this world, it was 100% tuna steak without fat, cut into 4 separate pieces, very well cooked (pink on the inside) and incredibly delicious! the wein recommended by the manager was also very good, ask him for a good advice! all in all we had a wonderful evening, the quality / price ratio is definitely good in la cala!!! make sure to book a table as they are incredibly busy during the high season!

We have a table reserved and they have set us after 1 hour. eating was terrible and not worth the price. the personal was unfriendly and respectless. overall terrible experience

Very tasty seafood risotto full of fresh seafood, mussels, prawn, cockles and squid. Couple next to us had mixed grilled fish (50 euros) which also looked very fresh and high quality with swordfish, sea bream, squid, prawns, langoustines and cuttlefish. 55 euros for two with...desserts, one drink. Nice location in Marina, quieter and more refined than the main drag in Villasimius.

We went twice during our holidays to this lovely places recommended by our friends. The view is just amazing, the service very friendly and the food is local and very tasty. I am quite surprised about other comments as all my friends with me were...Italians and they all stated how good was the food and the freshness. I definitely recommend the mussels for starters, the fritto misto was huge and we had to share it between us. My favorite main was the fregola , which was just perfect !!! I tried the raviolini which are a speciality, with ricotta, sugar and some orange zest, very sweet and nice !. It is definitely one of the best view that I had during a dinner and if I have to travel to Sardegna again, I’ll definitely come back. I recommend 100% !!
