Bidrage med feedbackStayed for two nights with my wife. Staff very accomodating when we asked about having dinner the first night had an excellent gastro meal with a lovely red wine to accompany. We had pre booked dinner on the second night, and were treated to a completely different menu, that was as good as the previous nights! If we were staying a third night, we'd be seriously tempted to try it again that's how much we enjoyed the previous ones. Accomodation was also excellent loads of character in the room we were in. Lots of nice touches across the restaurant and hotel, which shows a good attention to detail. Highly recommended.
Food was outstanding at affordable prices. The chef prepares a different menu every evening. We recommend the large menu with additional starters. Impressing wine card.
We dined in the CAFÉ OILARRA (labeled in TripAdvisor as “Restaurante Casa Arcas” , which is located inside of the Casa Arcos hotel. We have been fortunate to dine in several Michelin starred restaurants in our travels over the years, and the meal that we were served at OILARRA was equal to or better than all of them. Only one tasting menu was offered that night. We were fortunate to enjoy a chilled soup with smoked sardines, a roasted tomato over a coarse coulis of baccalau and potatoes, a slow roasted pork knee in a rich sauce and a variation on panda cotta. The presentation was beautiful and not overly complex. The flavors were supreme, and the service was excellent. I cannot imagine that a better meal is served anywhere else in the region.
We went a little by reference is a restaurant hotel that is near the village, next to a gas station. I know it doesn't sound good, but it's a wonder once you cross the door. rustic environment with decor. the service, despite the youth of the waitress, is very good. there is no letter, only a unique menu with butter, snacks, first, second and dessert. Drink is separate. in our case, first ravioli filled with mushrooms and second pig codillo at low temperature. All very good. homemade dessert flan with carrot cake and fresh cheese ice cream. We drink two reeds, a bottle of moons, and coffees. As the menu is paid at the end I don't know if it's the best in the valley, but of course a place to come back.
Is a family hotel with a cosy restaurant, decorated with very good drop. the menu is closed, but all delicious, I haven't eaten that well for a while. a sure success.
