L'Orangerie - Villandry

The sweet was partly very hot and partly cold - not the famous French cuisine we had expected. the flesh was very beautiful. the apple cake for dessert was also pretty. we were the only guests, but at the beginning, we got the impression, we were disturbing the paragliding hope for a free evening. when he realized, we stayed the only one hospitable and an early night was in sight, he became more friendly and even showed some humor.

This is a real gem to find in a tourist hotspot. The menu is really interesting, a refreshing change from either the very traditional or the generic coach trip list that you find next to world famous sites. The chef obviously loves his/her art,everything matches...well together and each item is perfect. Service is great, casual but prompt and the decor matches the modern chic approach

Perfect for families. We went on a quiet Sat night in August and enjoyed pizza, pasta, vegetarian lasagne, salad and escalope. Service very good.

We had the opportunity to eat in this small restaurant too lunch, although we arrived a little late, we were very well received, fast service, efficient and the pizzas are excellent.
