Pier 88 Boiling Seafood - Village

Caitlin was absolutely amazing. However, the restaurant itself is pretty disgusting. I really feel like we should have walked out when I saw napkins and trash and ketchup all over the floor, but we didn't. Then I saw the bathroom and it was worse than a gas station in a tiny town off the highway. Absolutely gross.

Caitlyn was the best!! She attended to every need of mine and made sure I felt right at home, never had an empty drink or an empty request. I love Caitlyn!!!!!!!

I got take out. My order was incomplete. I call back to let them know. Ask to talk to the manager, the lady that answer the phone said manager out, I ask her to have the manager to call me back. I waited and I call back , now the manager what be back until the next day. The lady said that the owner was there , but didn’t speak English. This is the second time my order was incomplete. I paid $90.00 plus dollars for terrible service. I’ll advise everyone to stay away from the Pier 88 on Britton Road.

I don’t know who owns this place, but the food is delicious! The customer service is horrible! You walk in and no one is there to greet you and you see people that work there walking around but they ignore you, my friend called and someone answered and she told them we’d been waiting to be seated and they came and helped us only then. They say you work for tips well no one in there deserves it. I hope the owner comes in and trains their staff and cleans up! They got great food, it’s kinda sad!

I mean the food was edible . Definitely not my choice for seafood … I went earlier last month ordered an appetizer of fried Calamari … when I tell you that was the chewiest most … eeeww just horrid. Then we substituted for the Alaskan king crab legs and the legs wouldn’t even crack they just bent … ugh … tried it again two weeks ago and it was … ok again… no redemption though …Wait staff very inattentive and forgets half of what you order and has to be reminded constantly … this could be a more successful profitable establishment if these few things were adjusted as it is a pretty popular spot
