Chatterbox Diner - Village of Carthage

I’ve been a lot of places and had a lot of omelettes. South Dakota, Alaska, New York, Idaho, lived in opposite ends of the US. I can 100% tell you Chatterbox has the absolute best breakfast food I have ever had, and it’s super cheap. I’m writing this sitting in a diner in Idaho, I still wish I could get a chatterbox breakfast today.

They no longer serve breakfast food or lunch, only doughnuts and bagels. That's the reason for the 2 star rating.

I happily drive 20-30 mins just to get to this place. You cannot beat the breakfast and the prices. Very easy to walk right in and sit at the counter. The service is great and of course people like to stare if they don’t recognize you but that’s part of the small town charm! I highly recommend the cinnamon toast! It’s always amazing.
