Bidrage med feedbackWe went to dinner on Saturday night and the place was busy. both my companions had grilled salmon while I had bife de lomo or filet steak. the service is efficient and the location, next to a bach, offers a beautiful view when it. the windows. lachs was accompanied by torrontes wein. we all had a dessert, which helps to digest the more generous portions. I've eaten a few times, I've never had a bad meal. both debit and credit cards are accepted. the menu is neither in English nor in German so on their Spanish if they do not want to miss their best dishes.
Great barbecue restaurant. they can taste typical dishes such as lokro type of stew) and asado and a lot of sausages, ribs and other delicacies for meat lovers. the prices are regular and the service is satisfactory
The restaurant is excellent and eating is generally very good. it is mainly a parrilla a.k.a as a steak house. However I have pasta and enjoyed it a lot, it was cooked al dente and the sauce was made too home. my companion had lammed. to perfection. the reason why I didn't give 5* is that together with other restaurants in Argentina we find it difficult to get a gin tonic as aperitif, this time they had the gin a small amount of it) but they didn't have the tonic water! I wonder why this drink is difficult to get in a country with so much British influence. worse still is to ask for a dry sherry outside of buenos aires I begin to think it is better to stay on red malbecs, they can not go wrong with this somewhere. we had a tempranillo, but that was excellent. the visit was on a Sunday evening and the place was only half full, this is the next season in villa general belgrano.
We visited twice this trip that was here before. they now have the decking near the small baches that passes before the restaurant. arroyo in Spanish means a stream. the meat is excellent and the chorizos delicious, although they are quite small. this. is common in whole cordoba so it fits with the local sample. a table in the extension to the main restaurant brings it near the beautiful view of the green banks of the arroyo instead of the tables in the main room. although eating is good service varied, my companion asked for chimichurri (a delicious sauce) to accompany meat and until the time it arrived, he had already eaten the chorizo. it is obvious that the waitress needed more training. we had better service with a waiter on a previous visit. the place takes credit and debit cards, the wein and the beer are excellent. like most restaurants on Monday is their closing day.
Posta del Arroyo is the best place for fire grilled beef in General Belgrano town. Conveniently located, is can be reached walking two blocks down from the main street. Sitting right besides a small creek, it offers from the outer, air conditioned room, a nice view of...the surroundings during the meal. Service is prompt and very, very friendly. Beef is great and portions generous, specially the brochetes de lomo (sirloin skewers) . Consider sharing. Price a bit above the average, but not expensive. Wine list is extensive at very good prices a medium red costs less than US$ 10 a 3/4 bottle. The place is also known for serving other specialities frog and lamb. Two good pretext for coming back.
