El Superpollo - Vilanova i la Geltrú

I was expecting we'd be writing a rave review when we ended up here due to everything being closed on Easter Monday. It does look like a cheap takeaway from the outside, but when you're inside the decor takes a small step up. But you don't come here for the decor it's the chicken! The chicken is there roasting in the background and I don't know what they've done to it but it's amazing. Like I've made Heston Blumenthal's three day roast chicken, and this was a mile better. Beautifully succulent, excellent flavour. The chicken just flakes away when you pull it off. The kids had the chicken nuggets (surprisingly nice , and my wife the Caesar Salad (doesn't look much but tastes great . We had a lot of expensive highly ranked meals in Vilanova, but this was the most surprisingly pleasant. Superpollo indeed :

When we found this place we had been tapa out and fished out and needed some rottiserie chicken. This chain was perfect and in expensive and served wine or beer as well with the combos. The food was like swiss chalet always perfect everytime , fast and courtious

We thought for a long time this was a grimy fried chicken place because of the way it looked from the outside. We couldn’t understand why there was always such a line outside though! We decided to give it a go. Turns out it’s epic rotisserie chicken! We got whole chicken to take away and have In baguettes later. Delicious juicy chicken. Will definitely be a regular. Said it opened at 11.30am but didn’t open until 11.40. A strange menu compilation too.

Superpollo is a typical fast-food restaurant located in the center of Vilanova i la Geltrú, a town 50km far from Barcelona. Here you can eat roasted chicken, croquettes, chicken allies and fritters. I came here with my 6 years old daughter and she enjoyed with a typical dish of the restaurant. Ok.

We happened to stop for lunch at superpollo with the kids on holiday. We couldnt believe how cheap the meals were. The server was really helpful in advising what combos were on offer.The best hot chicken and chips served with a choice of cava wine or beer!! Whats not to love about that!
