Agora - Viladrau

A totally delightful lunch in this pleasant little restaurant with a relaxing vine-covered garden setting. Good and friendly service. Inclusive menu of 3 courses plus bread, crisps, water or glass of wine for 9.50 euros!!! I kid you not. We had a starter of crunchy ravioli with a tasty chestnut-mushroom sauce; main course for us was albondigas (meat balls in spicy tomato and peas) for my wife; two, repeat two, spatchcock quails for me; selection of fruit, ice-cream cup or flan for dessert. The quirky bit was that the menu was written entirely in Catalan alone. (Viladrau itself appears to be a hot spot for the Catalan independence movement), but a verbal translation into English and Spanish was cheerfully given. Catalan can be a pain to deal with (it's a stupid language anyway) but this feature curiously added to our happy experience.

Tasty and economic menú in this lovely village of the Montseny. Very recommendable. Nice service. Try it.

Pedí una tostada de sobrasada, con queso de cabra, nueces y miel...todo muy escaso, además la tostada era pequeña. Si nos quedamos con el dinero y el producto...pues... Ahh, el local se ve muy limpio, también tengo que decirlo.

Cuina familiar i de qualitat. waiti correct, tot i que una mica lents. espai molt agradable tan dins com fora. I'm sorry. el preu hauria d'ajustar-se una mica, tot i això, molt recomanable. hi he anat varies vegades i repetiré.
