Villa Vehla - Vila Do Bispo

Fantastic food, sangria, atmosphere and welcome. As a party of 6 we booked and had a good table. Food was great, mixed to starts, beetroot salad, bread and dips were lovely. Couldn't turn down the satay chicken or rabbit stew. Both were excellent as was the tuna steak. Local white wine went well with our food. Desserts were brilliant but all so filling. Hope to return.

Feels like an incredibly local restaurant but nicely sprinkled with other tourists who were as delighted as we were. Even though the place was packed, we were never rushed and the staff gave us the best recommendations. Every single thing we ordered was amazing. My husband had read some reviews that tis was pretty expensive but we found it to be on part with the rest of the nicer restaurants in the area (price-wise) and just very special and romantic.

The restaurant was full so we were glad to have booked. The food served was excellent and the atmosphere added to the evening.,

Our hotel recommended this place, and while it is outside the main street, it was a big sound. the place keeps few people, but it was original, friendly and eating was great.

Wonderful food, just delicious with fair trips. very welcoming personal and very beautiful atmosphere. just go there and you will be thrilled!
