Vivus Salettl - Vienna

Vivus is located in a beautiful place in the middle of the prater park. I ordered a picnic ham to take in the park for a very special occasion. the hamper was with very pale wonders from the delicious like pates, salads and healed...Fleisch but the reason why I gave a bad rating is because I ordered a champagne picnic for this very special occasion, and was promised a bottle moet and chandon champagner in the confirmation email. at the collection seemed everything I seemed to choose was a bottle prosecco or a blue rose (the latter was actually excellent, but not what I ordered) which was not at all with the 100 euro price tag for the hamper, at least a third of it expected to consider the price of a bottle champagner.

Whilst staying at the wonderful Wilhelmshof Hotel the other side of Prater station for a long weekend recently we decided to try our luck in the Prater park for a convenient eating-house and we were delighted to discover a veritable little treasure. Having walked through...the Prater amusement park past the Ferris Wheel and the Mighty Mouse looking for longer established well-known Prater eating establishments, we came across the new Vivus restaurant and were immediately effusively welcomed into the cosy indoor dining room by the ebullient 'mein host ' and we were not at all disappointed by what followed, in fact it was all so good we went back again on our last evening in Vienna and are now very pleased to be the first to favourably review Vivus.

4,- für "grosses" soda zitron das dann doch nur 0,4 bedeutet dass bier billiger als sodazitron ist. wo sind wir hier bitte? das geht gar nicht. aus zweierlei gründen isst man im vivo erst gar nicht 1) das lokal stinkt nach altem fritieröl 2) die preise auf der karte sind zu hoch als dass sie diese location qualitativ dastemmen könnte. als extrabonus weht einem im eigentlich schönen gastgarten immer wieder ein mistkübelgeruch in die nase... besser weitergehen an diesem lokal.

Essen fand ich sehr lecker. Netter Außenbereich. Fand aber die Geräusche vom Prater etwas störend. Bedienung ein wenig unprofessionell. Dennoch freundlich und Preis-Leistung finde ich halbwegs in Ordnung. Knapp an Sehr Gut vorbei....

Gutes Essen, Preise den großen Portionen angepasst!Leider sied die Kellner etwas langsam, oft sieht man minutenlang niemanden der getränkt bzw. essen aufnimmt!
