Spoons - Vienna

Actually we live near and were a few times; service was pleasant and the drinks are just good. it is a beautiful place where my wife had an excellent ice cream sundae

We actually stumbled across this restaurant by chance after coming out of the Donauturm in the rain and were in need of some lunch. Service was good from the off. The three of us had the Spoons Toast (which was even crumbed), small Schnitzel and...potato soup respectively. All the food was amazing. You have to see the pictures to believe it, but the Schnitzel was rather big for a small one and the toast was just sublime nothing I'd ever seen before and even served with a salad. The prices were ever so reasonable, too. If you're going to the Donauturm, don't bother eating up the top; come here instead as it's so much better for so much less!

We felt hungry after the ascent of the Danube Tower, so we decided to go for a bite. the restaurant spoons is just below the tower. I went back for a bright carving that was surprisingly good. Usually eating in these tourist sites is served...not amazing, but this time it was great. a bit unhappy that they forgot to give me chips instead of potato salad, but since the focus was on the scavenger, I could live with it. my wife had ice cream (coffee that was also good with a lot of eyes. the price is fair and not too steep (considers the price to climb the tower, we expected the worst. service a bit slow at the beginning but improved the more we have ordered:

I have seen how with a friend and after standing up on the thunderstorm we have an egg. We went to this place that had ice on their menu. the waiter came without saying hello or something, wanted us to order a drink: I explained we wanted only one egg and he didn't like my answer when he always asked about our beverage order before we finally wanted to take the order. he came back 15 minutes later and left the ice on the tablet without saying a word. when we asked about the bill, another waiter came and, what a surprise, it was much more expensive than in a menu. I was very fucked and asked him why. he only said we had to pay, and we had to argue that he admits his mistake. I guess I was stupid to suspect that what's on a menu, it's what they suspect to get. the ice was good, but the waiters are so rude I would certainly not come back

We have the hop-on hop-off bus at point 10 and visited this restaurant. it was a hot day and they had both an outside sitting area and an inside,- climate sitting area where we decided to dinate. we had a penne pasta...with tomatensauce basilikum (good), a garden salad with tomaten mozzarella balls (good) and a bark meat consommé that was hardly warm. also the bathroom asked to use a donation. not bad, not very good!
